Description
“Good Omen” are small bracelets used in meditation to train focus. It is a powerful tool for beginners to train their minds. The essence of focus in relation to the mind is like a magnifying glass for the sun. Just as the magnifying glass directs the sun’s endless energy to one point, focusing the mind on one thing allows for deeper understanding of the object of focus. The bracelets are used to “count” with the fingers, while repeating a prayer, mantra, affirmations, or words that resonate the most with the individual, so the mind can practice maintaining complete focus.
In its simplest form, all brain cells work in networks connecting with each other, forming patterns. If one of them has a neural impulse, it will, light up all neurons conneced to it, will, if subconscious, travel along pathways with the strongest connections, creating loops of experiences that one travels through repeatedly. Loops of learned ideas and patterns in our minds.
While many of them are good, like good habits, family connections, and the warmth of the world we create, there are also darker ones, created in our subconscious by parents, society, and messages from giant corporations that bombard our subconscious every day, many not even knowing where the ideas they harbour came from, or they subconciously acting them out.
When the mind starts to travel down this pathway, but is intentionally redirected back to the mantra, you are pulling the neural impulse back, stopping it from following the same path, weakening those connections in the mind-body and releasing the energy elsewhere, so you can create your own inner world, which then shapes the external, with the power your mind has to create itself, and choose and reject.
This has proven to be a magic tool for those who have experienced a lot of trauma and mental disorders because there is a direct correlation between the amount of trauma we have experienced or our ancestors have experienced, and the mental patterns we inherit. Focus training is the most powerful tool to reprogram the brain and weaken those connections, and the bracelet and your mantra serve the purpose of directing that consciousness to a timeline or center, a happy place that you can always return to if you fall too deep into the holes of the mind, replacing empowering thoughts instead of breakdowns and spiraling suffering that accompanies it when the mind repeatedly falls into the same painful memories.
This is especially beneficial as one of the tools for people with addiction disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and various mental illnesses stemming from how trauma has created disruptive patterns, but it is also suitable for professionals and athletes or other competitive individuals who want to excel in what they do.
